Tiny Teapot Cafe in EpworthFriday 28 May 2010 10:26 Restaurant Reviews Tags: epworth, wesley, john, coeliac, gluten, cafe, lincolnshire, food, review Epworth in North Lincolnshire as a lovely market town made famous for being the birthplace of John Wesley. During a visit to Epworth you can wander around some of the lovely shops and pay a visit to the Old Rectory John Wesley’s childhood home. When you have explored and are ready for something to eat there are a couple of Café’s and the Red Lion Pub but I would recommend The Tiny Teapot. The popular Tiny Teapot looks out over the Market Cross in the centre of town, it lives upto its name, it is bijou but that is part of it charm. The food is just great, lots of home made cakes and soups, bagels, jacket potato’s and of course the good old cooked breakfast. The other lovely this about the Tiny Teapot is that it embraces catering for Coeliacs. All the homemade soups are Gluten Free, most are even Dairy Free as well, they always have Gluten Free Bread and cakes and having a cooked breakfast with them is a treat as they always have gluten free sausages on hand.
The food is always fresh, you can stick your head round into the kitchen and it is immaculate. This is without doubt my favourite café, as a Coeliac with a Dairy Intolerance I know I can pop out for lunch, select what I want without worrying. The Tiny Teapot is an amazingly friendly little café and my recommendation to complete any trip to Epworth. related: Comments (0) |
