Marble Worlds 2 for the iPhone

If like me you have an iPhone or iTouch and want something a bit more substantial than a fart app, then I might just have the game for you, Marble Worlds 2

Marble Worlds 2, uses a combination of the accelerometer, tilting the device to guide the marble around the mazes and the touch screen to help with some of the more difficult jumps. I know a couple of people that have completed the game with this dual approach, then gone back and done it again purely with the accelerometer.

The graphics are well designed in 3D type graphics which are colorful and quite beautiful. There are 100 levels with 5 themes including Fantasy, Egyptian and Toy Box. The 3D type graphics really makes you concentrate on guiding your marble along raised walls and paths. There are also some great little sound effects which I just loved such as birds tweeting in the fantasy level and train toots in toy box.

As you work your way around the mazes, you have to trip triggers, collect and use bombs, catch lifts on air jets, try to avoid rebounders that fire your marble at all angles and navigate some really slipper ice. You must also avoid the evil marbles who will try and push you off the maze, they have an great evil laugh which actually seems to give the little suckers extra character. You also can collect extra lives and keep a look out for tins of beans, they can enhance your lives, or in true iphone style just make you fart, cracked me up as my marble farted its wall around a level.

This is not just a 5 minute play, its a substantial game which I have played for something like 20 hours and I can go back and do it again, improve my scores and collect more tins of beans. In my opinion well worth the 2.99 price tag, try and buy it on any other platform for that and you will struggle
